Eligibility and program rules
Lives in Arizona
Your child must meet Arizona residency and an ESA eligibility category, including the universal K-12 route.

Withdraw from public school when you sign the ESA contract.
Teaches the required subjects
You agree to provide reading, grammar, mathematics, social studies, and science. ESA participation is a separate legal route from statutory homeschooling.
Can we buy ordinary school supplies?
Yes. ADE requires curriculum support for supplemental materials, including basic supplies.
What if my account is terminated?
You have 30 days to resolve the reason or appeal. Without action, the account closes.

Northland Pioneer College Early College ESA waiver
NPC’s Early College Waiver covers tuition, media fees, and course fees for eligible college classes while your child is in high school. Homeschool students eligible for an Arizona ESA must use those funds, so ask an Early College advisor which payment route applies before enrolling.
Eligibility and program rules
Lives in Arizona
The waiver lists Arizona residency as a requirement.
Is still a high-school student
Graduates with a high-school diploma, GED, or associate degree are ineligible. Students younger than 14 need advisor approval paperwork.
Meets college placement
Your child must meet NPC placement requirements.
Checks the ESA rule
NPC says eligible homeschool students must use their ESA; do not assume the waiver provides an additional award.
Can my child enroll before age 14?
Yes. A Request to Enroll form must be completed with an NPC advisor.
Can a graduate use this waiver?
No. A completed high-school diploma, GED, or associate degree makes the student ineligible.

NPC does not publish a single waiver deadline. Ask an Early College advisor for the current registration and waiver deadlines.
