Make a transcript

Enter each year’s courses and grades and print a finished transcript.

Student and school
Student name, date of birth, graduation date, school name, administrator name, and address, plus any line you add to the transcript.
Grading scale
A = 93–100% (4.0) | A- = 90–92% (3.7) | B+ = 87–89% (3.3) | B = 83–86% (3.0) | B- = 80–82% (2.7) | C+ = 77–79% (2.3) | C = 73–76% (2.0) | C- = 70–72% (1.7) | D+ = 67–69% (1.3) | D = 63–66% (1.0) | D- = 60–62% (0.7) | F = below 60% (0.0). Or letters only with A from 90% or from 93%, or your own lowest percent for each letter.
Grades 9 to 12
Each year’s school year and courses: name, credits, level (Standard, Honors, or AP), and final grade or In progress.

The finished page lists that information, the scale, and a table of course title, credits, and grade for each school year, followed by the credits earned.

Find the grades needed

Enter the years so far and a GPA goal. We work out what this year needs.

Add this year’s credits and, once quarters are graded, the average so far. The answer shows the average this year needs, the lowest grade that reaches it in every course, what the remaining quarters need, and the math behind each number. It covers the year after the last completed one.

How the GPA is worked out

Each letter grade becomes grade points on a 4.0 scale: 4.0 for an A, 3.7 for an A-, 3.0 for a B, and so on down to 0 for an F. The tool multiplies each course's points by its credits, adds them up, and divides by the credits attempted, so a full-credit course counts twice as much as a half-credit one.

An F counts toward credits attempted and the GPA but earns no credit, and a course still in progress counts toward neither. The weighted GPA adds 0.5 grade points for an Honors course and 1.0 for an AP course, unless the grade is an F, and the unweighted GPA prints beside it.

What sits behind a transcript

A homeschool transcript is issued by the homeschool itself, and you sign it as the administrator; the printed page has signature and date lines above your name. Colleges and schools may also ask for what stands behind it: a course description and graded work for each course, plus records from any outside course such as dual enrollment. Each college lists the supporting documents it wants in its homeschool admission instructions.

Frequently asked questions

Can I include courses taken elsewhere?
Yes. Enter a dual enrollment class or another provider’s course in the year your child took it, like any other course.
What does the tool save from what I enter?
Only your name and email, with the tool request. The courses and grades stay on this page and are not saved, emailed, or filed, so print the transcript before you leave.
Does a transcript from this tool make my homeschool accredited?
No. Accreditation is a review of a school, not something a transcript adds.

Let the coursework build the transcript

With our curriculum, we grade your child’s work in every course and generate the transcript from those grades, year by year. All that’s left for you is the signature.
