BCT's youth fares are for riders 18 years old or younger. Adult fares start at 19.

  2. Shows proof of age

Proof of age is required for a youth fare. BCT does not tie it to school enrollment, so carry a document that shows your child's age.

What the fare saves

BCT's fare page, updated August 13, 2026, lists youth fares next to adult fares for ages 19-64.

One-way cash fare
$1 ($2)
All-day bus pass
$4 ($5)
31-day bus pass
$40 ($70)
Premium Express one-way

Operators do not carry change. A 31-day pass starts the first day it is swiped.
