Homeschool benefits and savings in Nampa
Nampa Parks and Recreation's swim lesson scholarship pays up to 80% of an American Red Cross group swim lesson at the Nampa Recreation Center, so a $50 member session can cost you as little as $10. Applications are due the last day of each month, and the form asks why your family needs help, not where your child goes to school.

Questions parents ask
- Is there homeschool swimming?
- Yes. Homeschool Swimming runs Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 5-17, at $50 for members or $80 for non-members, with a 30-minute lesson and open swim. Ask whether a scholarship can apply, since the scholarship page names only group swim lessons.
- Are there other scholarships?
- Yes. Nampa also offers youth sports scholarships for any recreation program, one per season, plus recreation center membership and golf scholarships, each with its own application.
