Madrid Home School Assistance Program (HSAP) gives your family a licensed supervising teacher employed by Madrid Community Schools, materials from its homeschool resource room, and enrichment such as homeschool art and PE. Questions parents ask

Who teaches my child in Madrid's HSAP?
You do. Parents remain the primary educator, and a licensed supervising teacher supports you with curriculum guidance, materials, and teaching strategies.
Can my child take classes or play sports at Madrid schools?
Yes. Dual enrollment lets students at any grade level attend classes or extracurricular activities.
Can a high schooler earn college credit?
Yes. Concurrent enrollment, such as through DMACC, lets students earn college credit in high school.
How often do we meet the supervising teacher?
Four times each quarter, with several of those contacts face to face.

Turn support into your child’s next lesson

Local classes cover the subjects they offer. We teach the remaining subjects, so a local class can stay part of the year without becoming the whole curriculum.
