Questions parents ask

Does every family member need a Richards Free Library card?
Not for Educate Station. Cardholders log in with their own card number, and nonresident fees are charged per person, so start with a card for one parent.
Is there a charge for the Educate Station curriculum itself?
No. The library pays for it. Your only possible cost is the nonresident card fee if you do not live, own property, work, or go to school in Newport.
Who can help us set it up?
Call 603-863-3430, extension 3.
When is the library open if we need help in person?
Richards Free Library is open Monday 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
