Who qualifies

  1. Is in grades 7-12

Tri-C's CCP program is open to homeschooled students in grades 7 through 12 whose parent has filed the proper paperwork with the Ohio Department of Education.

  2. Has a superintendent's letter

The funding application asks you to upload your local superintendent's letter acknowledging that your child is homeschooled for 2026-27 or the current year.

  3. Receives state CCP funding

Ohio sets aside a fixed amount for homeschool CCP students, so funding is not guaranteed. A parent, not the student, applies through an OH|ID account.

  4. Is admitted to Tri-C

Your child applies, sends a transcript or grade report, and has eligible test scores on file. After acceptance, they complete the Authorization to Attend form and meet with a Tri-C counselor.

What it is worth

The costs come from the Ohio Department of Education's homeschool CCP page and Tri-C's CCP frequently asked questions.

    Apply for spring funding

Submit the spring 2027 funding application by 5:00 p.m. on November 1. For a full school year, the window is February 1 to April 1.

  3. By Dec. 6, 2026

    Get the funding decision

The state notifies spring applicants on or before December 6. Full-year applicants hear on or before May 6.

  4. After the award

Apply to Tri-C and send the letter

Complete the Tri-C application, email your funding letter to your campus CCP office, then submit the Authorization to Attend form and meet a counselor.
