Questions parents ask
- What happens if my student fails a Mitchell Tech class?
- Under South Dakota law a failing final grade ends dual credit eligibility unless good cause is shown. Mitchell Tech lets the high school, which for you is your home school, decide whether there is good cause to continue.
- Will the credits transfer to another college?
- Not always. Mitchell Tech does not guarantee transfer, so your student should ask the college they plan to attend whether it accepts the credits.
- Can financial aid pay for dual credit?
- No. Textbooks are not included.
